St. Paul Harley-Davidson® is an institution in the Minnesota motorcycling community, rich in history and tradition. Located just off I-94 at the Century Exit in St. Paul, you can't help but notice our 100' tall Bar & Shield sign and our massive showroom as you drive down the Interstate! At a time when motorcycles were just starting to grow in popularity, a man named Howard W. Belmont became passionate about the developing sport at a young age, and in 1939, Howard's mother took out a mortgage on their home so that he could open the motorcycle shop that is now St. Paul Harley-Davidson®, incorporated in 1945. Howard's business opened at 277 West Seventh Street in Saint Paul and quickly became a community landmark.
