I haven’t been to this place in years and I have been going to another nail shop consistently for about 3 years now. However, the nail tech I normally make appointments with was out today, so I thought I would give nail 2000 a try since it’s been awhile. I called to inquire about prices for the pedicures before I went there and was told over the phone that it’s $35 for pedicure if you get regular polish and $55 if you get gel polish. Ok, cool no problem!! I get there and waited a few minutes after picking out my color. I had decided to do regular polish this time, although I do get gel sometimes at the nail salon that I normally go to. I had a pedicure done but it was pretty quick. The lady doing my pedicure watched the door the whole time; it was like she couldn’t even focus on working on my feet. I had to ask her three times to cut my toe nails down. During the foot scrub she took her time on the left foot, but then right as she started on the right foot someone walked in wanting to get a service. She immediately sped up and starting rinsing the foot scrub gel off as tho she was trying to get to the next dollar (that is the next customer, lol!!) The massage at the end only lasted about a minute and she never really even touch the foot area with the lotion just the leg. Normally at the end of getting a pedicure, the skin on my feet at least look like they have moisture although they have to dry the toe nails before polishing. I have dried up polish on my skin between my toe. The main part of the pedicure I enjoyed was the hot towels that they put around your feet at the end of the supposedly massage. Then, got ready to pay and the lady tells me $40 instead of $35. I questioned her about it being $5 more than what was originally stated and she told me that it was because she removed the gel polish. I have never been charged an additional $5 just to take polish off whether it was gel or regular…Not one shop!!! I MEAN REALLY!!!! HOW DO YOU DO A FRESH PEDICURE WITHOUT REMOVING THE OLD POLISH FIRST⁉️⁉️ Then she goes on to say that if I would have gotten gel polish then there would not be a charge to remove the polish at the beginning of the pedicure. Seriously!!!! So in other words the fact that she couldn’t make $55 off of me she decided to find a reason to make some extra anyway??? ITS CALLED BEING GREEDY FOR MONEY!!!! The pedicure wasn’t worth the $35 that I thought I would be charged let alone the extra $5. It’s not just about $5 because if $5 was going to break me then that would mean I’m broke anyway; it’s the principle of the whole situation. I gave 3 stars because the wait was not very long, but I will continue going where I been going and if my nail tech is out then I will find other options. Thanks but no thanks!! ✌️

I got my nails and toes done last week and I’ve already had 4 nails just fall off. They are very friendly ppl but the quality of the work in my nails is so upsetting. The man that greets the door and answers the phone is who did my nails. It was a busy day so he constantly was stopping.

I’ve always loved coming here but yesterday the new Caucasian lady thought she was going to paint new polish over my old polish. I was so upset because this is the only nail shop in meridian that I’ve been comfortable with. I mean she filed the toe nails and everything. I know she saw that color.

Will never visit again!! I walked in at 6:30 to get my daughter’s nails done before school started. The lady informed us that they close at 7:30 and was not taking anymore clients. However, their sign on the door as well their times on the internet said they close at 8. There were 2 other individuals waiting ahead of us, so there weren’t a lot of people already waiting. It would have been somewhat understandable if I showed up 30 minutes before closing but it was 1.5 hours before closing time according to their posted times. Unprofessional in my opinion and I won’t be back.

i went to Nail 2000 with my friend and my girlfriend to get our nails done. expecting a nice, relaxing girls day. i was extremely disappointed in the service i received upon my visit. the lady who did my nails made my fingers bleed because she rushed. i started after my friends & was done before them. 6 of my 10 fingers was bleeding & burning. i got them painted pink & that was the end of it. when comparing my nails to my friends, i noticed hers were a lot thicker acrylic than mine (which meant they were weaker) which is why one of them ended up breaking not even 4 hours later. i then returned to Nail 2000 to get the problem fixed. i walked in & informed the woman at the desk what had happened. she sat me down & began on my nails, once again. this time, she rushed through my acrylic which ended in my nail being bumpy and uneven. she then sent me over to the polishes to find the polish that matched the color of my other nails. i was over at the wall for maybe 2 minutes & she came over there by me & literally said “hurry up. i don’t have time.” i was immediately offended & just picked up a random color (that didn’t match the color of my other nails.) i told her i would pay for her to paint my other nails that color so they would then be the same instead of one finger being different than the other 9. she the proceeded to paint my ONE nail & send me over to the dryer. my girlfriend approached me & told me don’t even worry with it. i got up from the dryer & left without paying. i do NOT recommend this place. the nail place in Bonita Lakes Mall is a better choice if you’re in the area.
