It's that time again, May 1st, pinch punch, first of the month, winter well and truly behind us, however you celebrate the 1st I always like to round up the previous month and share all the good stuff.🆕 - We are within the 100 day countdown for Albert's Schloss London opening which is very exciting. The building is coming together, taking shape, artifacts being dusted off from our stores ready to take center stage in the company’s biggest project to date.🍸 - Its been a very busy month for the bars with our new drinks menu having launched with the return of some of our summer classics but also some incredible new drinks and even a secret few. Its great to empower our team by having so many of our bartenders be involved with the development of the menu and their masterpieces take place on the menu across the country – see the pictures below.🍔 - Our Head of Food – Paul Kirk has been busy conjuring up our new food menu with has some mouth watering dishes from delicious kebabs to the creamiest and divine cheesecakes ever devoured (one of our guests descriptions, not mine) – see the photos below. 💻 - We have started our roll out with our new reservations system being headed up by our Head of Sales Louise Henderson – Collins is being rolled out to help up run a slicker more efficient reservation process that is better for our teams but of course the guest.🎸 - Our incredible Albert Hall of course hosts an amazing range of events but 2 stand outs in April were of course the Northern Music Awards where we celebrated all the talent in the North. We also had the cult band Barenaked Ladies perform to a sellout audience - can't wait to keep sharing all the amazing gigs coming up and as always please get in touch with Claire Forshaw who will happily speak to you about a private hire, wedding or an event you may wish to throw.👋 - My favourite section of my monthly review is our people and we have a load of all stars who are joining the Mission Mars team. - Lee Moody FCIPD joins us as Head of L&D for us. Welcome.- Liam Currie joins our Alberts Schloss London as we continue to build the team.- Chris Ryecroft joins us as new Bar Manager at Alberts Schloss Manchester taking the reigns from Ross Pagent who will be the bar manager for Alberts Schloss London.- Lewis Wood joins us as our in house Tik Tok guru and content creator.- Nicola Ibberson joins the London team alongside the squad.As always we are hiring – follow the link here to be part of the company - https://lnkd.in/eTTKfrug

With it being April 1st I thought I would open my post with an obligatory Aprils fool about maybe the new Albert’s Schloss Benidorm or Rudy’s Los Angeles but we can leave that to Marketing.Here’s all things we got up to in March; 🆕 – Queensway was the newest edition to the Rudy's Pizza Napoletana Famiglia. I am also keen to share that all things Albert's Schloss London are coming into full swing – the meetings are around new packages, naming new areas and of course hiring our new team – so pleased to announce that Christian De Beer will join us as DGM and starts his training next week and @Agne Dabrickate returns to the Mission Mars family where she smashed it whilst at Manchester so can’t wait to have her back! 🖥 – super pleased to share that our Gabrielle D'Alessandro has been busy tinkering away and working on our brand spanking new Alberts Schloss website, new widgets, incredible videos and amazing elements that allows our guests to find out more information about our menus. Of course it wouldn’t be very 'Schloss' if it didn’t have the odd easter egg built in. 🙋♂ 🙋♀ - In March – we had James Hicklin join us as Estates Manager who comes packed with experience to make sure our venues are looking amazing for every guest day in, day out. Welcome aboard.🎸 – Within our business we run a world class music venue – the Albert Hall plays host to every event under the sun, Bongo's Bingo to weddings to conferences and of course a huge line up of world class artists who grace the stage every week. A particular highlight in March was The Pixies who known across the globe amazed thousands of fans to a number of sell out nights. It’s an incredible space, to see more of who is performing check out our website or to speak about hiring the venue then I am sure Claire Forshaw will happily help you out.🗓 – We also opened the door on our London bookings which have already started pouring in, we have spaces a plenty from smaller bookings, to large booths to private spaces with your own bar – if you do want to enquire or know more, our incredible Louise Henderson and Asha Abdirahman who are smashing it (and we don’t even have a bar yet) will be happy to help… and we might even have some little treats going out in the capital as soon as this week. 👀 🥨 ☀ - Another month, another country, this time we took all our managers from the Bars arm of our business to Prague where we indulged on a huge tour of the Pilsner Urquell: The Original Beer Experience brewery, reviewed all parts of our business from marketing to our offering to all the new tools we will be developing to enhance the people side of the business. We also managed to squeeze in our usual video challenge which our team won! ⚡️James Newman – but I think its best that, that video stays in the archives. 🚀 ⚡

An event with a difference - so good to see Richard Casem*nt getting out about the streets on the day of NRB.Join him if you can, the days are getting brighter and be good to enjoy the alternative after party!

First few days of March and it somewhat feels spring is coming and as always I like to review the month gone by. It's the shortest month of the year and absolutely flew by.So, in February;🆕 - I think this section of my review will always be here as we have Rudy's coming our of our ears - this time it was in Spitalfields. The expansion list is ever growing and I am excited for the next few coming up (you will see why).📈 - In February we carried out our company survey and we are all happy to report back that we have improved 7% vs last year - this means our team are happier, ready to wow guests, know what is expected and are on a journey to progress. It is always great to carry out this survey, scores aside, we get to hear feedback from our team about what they love and how we an improve.🙋♂ 🙋♀ - In February, Alex Ford joined the crew as the Managing Director of the bars side of the group, straight in with a trip to Marbella and our conference next week ensuring he is immersed with all things Schloss, Schenke and Hall. We also have a well deserved promotion with Francesca Vint being promoted to Restaurant Manager of Albert's Schloss Birmingham. Asha Abdirahman joined as our Sales and Events manager for Alberts London and has come in firing in all cylinders from making pretzels on day 1 to spending her time all over the company. Welcome and Congratulations.☀ - James Plant and I also managed to squeeze in a few days in Cuba (see photos) where we were honoured to receive amazing hospitality from Roxane Marty and Emma Summerscales at Pernod Ricard and indulged in some Rum thanks to Havana Club - thank you for an amazing trip. It's a week before we go on our Spring conference and I’m excited to spend time with the teams, discuss our progress and challenges so far and come back stronger ready for summer.🚀 ⚡
